Gorgeous Galleries of Science Fiction and Fantasy Art

If you want to look at galleries of gorgeous science fiction and fantasy art, then look no further. The dozen young artists (and they are all very young) who were the winners of this year’s Writers and Illustrators of the Future Contest are a precociously talented bunch. I’ve included sample pictures below and links to their galleries, where I’ve been able to find them.

I’ve gone noir and cyberpunk heavy where possible, because well, that’s what I love (and judging by the traffic to this site every month, several thousand of you are pretty keen on it as well). The artist’s range though extends beyond this of course, and I encourage you to click through to their websites to see what they have on offer.

As you can see, the twelve ‘Illustrators of the Future’ from Volume 31 are pretty damned good. I’m interested in seeing where they go in the future.

If you’re interested in seeing some more of their art now, and in reading some pretty good short stories as well, you can pre-order Volume 31 here:
